How to Win the Republican Nomination Part 1
I decided since the Republicans will be short a candidate for the next presidential election, AND because it's time to start planning for such things, that I would offer some advice to potential nominees....
FIRST, remember, the object is to WIN the nomination. A well fought campaign is nice, but there are no second place winners. You can have the greatest plan for the New World Order, but if you don't
WIN, it won't matter. So the first rule, is
WIN AT ALL COSTS.
When winning at all costs, it is important to remember that it doesn't matter what your agenda is AFTER the election. You must run a winning campaign. If, for instance, the voters want lower oil prices, but you just happen to be in the pocket of Big Oil, you give the voters what they want -- go ahead, PROMISE to work for lower oil prices, maybe even price controls. You can help support the gouging oilmen AFTER you WIN the election.
See how easy this is? Rule number one then, is DON'T confuse a CAMPAIGN, with a Presidency. They are TWO different things.
